- Superwash 75% Merino wool/25% Nylon
- Sock/fingering weight, 4 ply
- 100 grams/3.5 oz, 462 yards/421 meters 462 yards
The yarn base is a 4-ply that is very soft and springy. This yarn is super wash and can be machine washed on gentle, but it is recommended to wash by hand to preserve the life of your garment. One 100g skein is enough for a pair of adult socks or Shalette.
Every skein of yarn is unique, even if from the same dye lot. I believe this is part of the beauty of hand dyed yarn which adds character and depth to your finished project. If using more than one skein for a project I highly recommend alternating skeins as you work. Stripes of two or more yarns can be done at regular or random intervals to blend skeins.
Although I try my best to accurately display colors, all computer monitors do not show colors the same. I use professional acid dyes and soak each dyed item in cold water to rinse out any loose dye that may remain.
★ Care: Machine Wash Gentle cycle, cold water, tumble Dry Low. I Recommended Hand Washed in Cold Water and Lay Flat to Dry
Dye Type: Professional acid dyes
