Each skein of yarn I make is a labor of love. Roving are hand painted with low acid dyes, steamed, and cooled for 24 hours to ensure colorfast yarn and less environmental impact as less dyes is being washed down the drain and into the environment. The roving is drafted and spun on my Ashford single pedal wheel, wound onto my niddy noddy and skein.
I soak the skein of yarn in a well water rinse, then I blocked the skein. When dry I store is with lavender sachet.
care / washing:
Hand wash in cool water using mild wool lite; lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight.
This yarn was spun in a smoke free, pet friendly environment.
