Hand Carded English Angora rabbit prime fiber in nine natural colors ( black, blue, lilac, chocolate, chestnut, white, Oat, Fawn, Caramel, Chocolate agouti) in one Oz. Bag. English Angora is well-known for it’s silky texture with no guard hairs. I comb the fiber off my bunnies about every three to 4 months to keep then comfortable and healthy. The fiber is staple length is approx 4 to 6 inches long. They naturally shed their fiber and grow a new coat.

This fiber is perfect for blending with Merino or another wool like B.F.L. to add softness and warmth. It can be dyed or left in its natural lovely color and will enhance any felted project you may envision. The fiber has not been washed or treated with chemicals in any way – it’s straight off the bunny’s back to you!

Handspun 100% Angora Yarn, Natural Chocolate Agouti, 50 Yd

Handspun natural chocolate agouti 100% angora yarn. This handspun angora rabbit yarn is a rich “cinnamon” color, 2-ply with approx. 50 yards. This soft yarn will develop a nice halo when you knit with it. If you have never knitted with handspun angora rabbit yarn you are in for a treat. The yarn is very soft and silky.

This yarn will not shed as commercial angora yarn. Because I wait till our bunnies coats are 4 to 6 inches long before removing its coat ( see Pictures of our bunnies in the fiber removing process) . The longer the length of the angora fiber the stronger the yarn is and less shedding happens. This is why my yarns are high quality handspun angora yarn.
